Throughout the development of Ghost of Yōtei, I had the opportunity to work on several structures, including many of the gates used throughout Ishikari Plain and Teshio Ridge. My favorite of these was the large burning gate at the entrance to Ishikari Plain (Location and World work done by Harold Lamb). I took the greybox assets created by the Layout/Rigging team and brought them to a fully polished final state. I also had some fun modeling, baking, and texturing the ornamental and trim metal pieces used across all the gates in the game.
