For this location, I was tasked with laying out a space for part of one of the Golden Path missions—“Twin Wolves, Twin Hearts”—in Ishikari Plain. I worked closely with Dan Gavrin to create an area that achieved both the design and art goals for this sequence. A core concept was finding ways for Atsu and Jubei to become separated and then work together to reunite, which made for a really fun design and layout challenge. I handled the initial layout and the first few art passes, while Charles Faubert, Ash Thundercliffe, and Dongjoon Lee later came in to do the finishing passes. The space turned out amazing, and it’s one of my favorite locations in the game.
